Delivery Terms

Last updated: 6 June 2026 · Applies to Fletcha Eats, operating in South Africa.

1. What a delivery includes

A Fletcha Eats delivery is a driver collecting goods on your behalf and bringing them to the address you supplied. Fletcha Eats does not manufacture, cook, package or sell the goods themselves; we coordinate the collection and delivery.

2. Service area

We currently operate in Mount Fletcher, Tlokoeng and surrounding areas in the Eastern Cape. Requests outside the serviceable area may be declined, or may attract a higher fee that is shown to you before you confirm.

3. Delivery fees

  • The delivery fee is calculated from distance and the service type and is shown before you confirm.
  • For shopping requests, a shopping fee may apply and is shown separately.
  • The cost of the goods themselves is separate from the delivery fee.
  • Fees quoted at the time of confirmation are the fees that apply, unless you change the request.

4. Delivery times and estimates

Arrival times shown in the app are estimates generated from GPS data, distance and typical travel speed. They are not guarantees. Weather, load shedding, store queues, stock availability, traffic and road conditions can all delay a delivery.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Provide an accurate delivery address and a reachable phone number.
  • Be available to receive the delivery at the agreed address.
  • Share your confirmation code only when the goods are handed to you.
  • Pay any amount owing for goods purchased on your behalf.

6. Confirmation codes

Pickup and delivery codes confirm that goods moved between the correct parties. Never share a delivery code before you have received your order. Codes remain available in your Codes history so you can resend one to a driver if needed.

7. Failed or refused deliveries

If you are not reachable at the delivery address, the driver will wait a reasonable period and attempt to contact you. If the delivery cannot be completed, the delivery fee remains payable and goods already purchased on your behalf remain your responsibility. Perishable goods may not be re-delivered.

8. Prohibited items

Drivers may not transport illegal substances, firearms, live animals, hazardous materials, or any item that a driver may not lawfully purchase or possess. Age-restricted goods such as alcohol and tobacco require valid identification on delivery.

9. Damaged or incorrect items

Report problems through in-app support as soon as the delivery is completed, with photos where possible. Investigation timeframes and remedies are set out in our Refund & Dispute Policy.

10. Cancellations

You may cancel before a driver has purchased or collected your goods. Once goods have been purchased on your behalf, cancellation is generally not possible and the goods plus the delivery fee remain payable.
